Motter Ombra
1973, by Othmar Motter

Each letter can be directly joined with the other elements of the alphabet. The result is a harmonious type area with normal duct (for longer texts) and an extremely narrow duct (for slogans and isolated words). The alphabet was offered exclusively by the Berthold Fototype, Berlin, and the Letraset, London.

While constituting an extremely dark font for emphasis, Ombra appears light-weight and elegant. Even when used in large font-sizes, it is still extremly narrow in width.
